I'm thankful for giving birth to a child who loves traveling as much as I do. He's only been on a airplane once, and that was last month when he went to Denmark. We mostly travel in our own country, and to be honest that's good enough for me, as I know some people who have never left the town that they were born in-- which is so strange to me, like why wouldn't you just get up out of your comfort zone and go to a different city to explore?! (Money is not an issue for them. They just can't be arsed). I get that everyone has their own definition of traveling, but to me... It doesn't just mean catching an airplane and legging it to a different country-- you can also be a tourist in your own country. It probably won't cost you that much either, especially if it's somewhere near by. There's also reasonably cheap train ticket deals on the internet sometimes or if you book in advance, you can also save some pennies.
I can't wait to go on many more adventures with this little human. He's got so much to learn! It's actually funny how much he remembers about the places we've been to. I didn't think he would remember things from last year, but he does. He will talk about it before he goes to bed. Such a little grandad.
I love that he craves traveling, and he's not even 3 yet lol. Little does he know that there is so much more awesome places in the world for him to see.
What's your toddler like when it comes to traveling?
