A NAIL IN MY FOOD

I don't know about you, but i absolutely love those days where I don't have to cook. Today was one of those days. We went out for a meal to Nandos. The atmosphere, and the service was really great until I found something which LOOKED like a nail in my teeth-- AFTER I finished my food. Let me tell you, I was ready to be sick in my own mouth. I showed it to the staff, and they all started panicking and quickly got the manager. The manager then later reassured me that it wasn't actually a nail (even though one of the guys who worked there told me it was) but anyway, she was really, really nice and I believed her in the end. Even though I know what I saw, the manager handled the situation very well, and she was a kind babe, and gave us desert on the house, as she wouldn't take no for an answer.

The bottom line is-- I don't think I'll be going back there again, as much as I like their chicken. The Mister wasn't impressed either, as he's not the type to cause a scene. I just wanted to make sure that someone's disgusting nail wasn't in my food. Apparently it was from the sauce or the rice. I'll never know.

Anyway-- after that we went to some shops to get some bits and bobs and ended up in Primark. How cute is this darling pyjamas my bambino is wearing? I can't cope with all the cuteness. He really needed these in his life. They were really cheap, so I thought, why not?!

Oh and BTW- does anyone else go shopping for themselves and end up getting nothing but always something for their child? Surely I can't be the only one!

  1. Completely understand why you wouldn't go there again, even if I have my own hair in my food, it makes me want to gag! Kids are so much more fun to shop for though, I spend hours looking at clothes for my Niece, they can get away with clashing prints and still look adorable!!

    1. Hi Charlotte, thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! Means a lot. I'm really funny when it come to things like that-- and like you said, even my own hair makes me gag. Yeah I totally agree, they're the best to buy for, especially now that they're not picky when it comes to clothes haha. That's so sweet...I can just imagine your niece being a little fashionista! xx
